Yuanta FHC takes practical actions in workplace safety and health protection. The conference was organized by the Human Resources Department of Yuanta Securities, focusing on Yuanta Group’s five major health protection programs, including maternity protection, prevention of human-caused hazards, prevention of illnesses caused by abnormal workloads, prevention of unlawful assaults, and middle-aged and senior citizenship, to share specific actions to promote a happy workplace. Ericsson Taiwan was also invited to share its sustainable experience in labor health, safety, and workplace friendliness in the telecommunications industry, as well as assisting the supply chain in strengthening safety risk management and advancing a healthy workforce.
In response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production, Yuanta FHC implements a supplier self-assessment and evaluation mechanism every year. The mechanism evaluates suppliers in six aspects, including human rights, labor practices, consumers, integrity management, environment, and health and safety, to carry out sustainable supply chain management. This supplier conference recognized 20 A-graded suppliers, for a cumulative total of 45 A-graded suppliers for the year.
As a member of the Coalition of Movers and Shakers on Sustainable Finance, Yuanta FHC has been honored as an Outstanding Green Procurement Enterprise by Taiwan’s Ministry of the Environment for thirteen consecutive years. In 2020, the ISO 20400 sustainable procurement guidelines were fully imported, and the amount of green procurement grew positively for three years in a row, with the amount of green purchasing reaching NT$273 million in 2023, an annual increase of nearly 30%.
