Founded in 1980, Yuanta Securities Finance (formerly Fuhwa Securities Finance) is the first financial institution engaging in securities financing business in Taiwan's securities market. In 2010, Yuanta Securities Finance was successively transferred from Entie Securities Finance and Fubon Securities Finance. And, on October 14, 2019, Yuanta Securities became the only securities finance company in Taiwan after the competent authorities approved the transfer from Global Securities Finance.
